5. Products and Services for Personal Use

Services and products available through this
Website are for personal use only. You may not sell or resell any products, services, or samples received from Epitology Skin Technology. Epitology reserves the right to cancel or reduce order quantities if we believe doing so would violate these Terms.

6. Payments

Payment is accepted via Visa, Mastercard, and other major credit and debit cards, as well as EFT/bank transfer where offered. The payment system allows for review, corrections, and withdrawal prior to final order placement.

7. Delivery Policy

7.1 Processing and Delivery

Orders are processed within three (3) working days and handed to our courier partner. Delivery is free for orders exceeding the applicable free-delivery threshold communicated on our Website; a flat courier fee applies to orders below this threshold.

7.2 Delivery Restrictions

We do not deliver to Post Office boxes; an alternative physical address is required.
Delivery is available to farms, security estates, and other remote locations at our discretion.
We do not deliver to vacant land or plots.

7.3 Delivery Standards

Goods are supplied in good order. Reasonable efforts are made to ensure delivery in the same condition as dispatched.

7.4 Delivery Timeframes

Metropolitan areas (Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein): 1–2 business days
Outlying/regional areas: 2–4 business days

The processing and delivery timeframes given in this section are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Epitology Skin Technology is not liable for delays outside our control.

7.5 International Orders

Once dispatched, international orders are non-returnable and non-refundable due to permanent export status. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping, handling, and processing charges, import duties, and taxes, and for ensuring that correct waybill details are provided.

Epitology Skin Technology is not liable for delays or losses arising from
incomplete, invalid, or incorrect information supplied after shipment.

8. Defective Goods, Adverse Reactions, and Returns/Refund
Policy

8.1 Defective Containers

For defective containers, pumps, or nozzles, please contact us within 10 working days of receipt for collection at our expense. A refund, replacement, or store credit will be provided.

8.2 Adverse Reactions

Products containing active ingredients may cause mild transient irritation during initial use. We recommend introducing new products gradually - not more than three times per week initially - before building to daily use. If you experience a severe reaction, please contact us immediately. Refunds for adverse reactions are determined on an individual basis.

8.3 Unwanted Products

Within 30 days of the order date, unopened products in intact original packaging may be returned at the customer's expense for Epitology store credit. Monetary refunds are not provided for
change-of-mind returns.

8.4 Return Guidelines

Products must have been
purchased directly from Epitology Skin Technology via www.epitology.com.
Returns must be initiated
within 30 days of the order date.
Please include a copy of your
receipt or order details (order number, name, email, and phone number).
We cannot accept returns on
used or opened products.
Original shipping charges are
non-refundable.

We endeavour to resolve all disputes amicably. Epitology Skin Technology does not currently subscribe to any alternative dispute resolution code or mechanism beyond direct engagement with
customers.

10. Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights

10.1 Content Ownership

All proprietary works, information, and content (including logos, trademarks, service marks, images, graphics, text, icons, audio, data, software, and compilation organisation) on this Website are owned by Epitology Skin Technology, its affiliates, partners, or licensors and are protected by South African and international copyright laws.

10.2 Modification Rights

Epitology Skin Technology may change, add to, or remove Website content, products, or services at any time without notice. All rights are reserved. No licence or right is granted under any Copyright,
Trademark, Patent, or other Intellectual Property Rights without express written consent.

Our products are cosmeceutical skincare products. Product use is at the user's risk. Users indemnify Epitology Skin Technology and hold it harmless against loss, injury, or damages arising from product use.

Epitology Skin Technology attempts accuracy in all product descriptions but does not warrant that descriptions, colours, information, or content are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

USE OF THE WEBSITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK. THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. ALL REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES IS LIMITED TO R1,000. 15.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding use of this Website and supersede all prior proposals, agreements, or communications.

16. Virtual Skin Assessment

The Virtual Skin Assessment available on our Website is a guidance tool only and does not replace consultation with a qualified Healthcare Professional, Dermatologist, or skincare specialist.
Results are indicative and based on information you provide. Epitology Skin Technology makes no medical claims and accepts no liability for outcomes arising from reliance on assessment results.

17. Gift Vouchers

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, Epitology Skin Technology gift vouchers are valid for a minimum of three (3) years from the date of issuance, or until fully redeemed, whichever is
earlier.

Epitology gift vouchers:

Are not redeemable for cash
Will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without authorisation
Cannot be resold or exchanged with third parties
Cannot be used to purchase other gift vouchers
Are only redeemable online at www.epitology.com

18. Loyalty Programme

Epitology Skin Technology operates a customer loyalty programme (the "Programme") through which qualifying purchases earn rewards points. The following terms apply:

You must be a registered Epitology account holder to participate.
Points cannot be earned or redeemed on gift vouchers, gift cards, or certain promotional items.
Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Epitology reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Programme at any time without prior notice or compensation.
Points expire 12 months from the date of earning if not redeemed.

19. User-Generated Content – Reviews Policy

Epitology Skin Technology reserves the right to approve, disapprove, or remove any user-generated content (including product reviews and comments) at our sole discretion.

Content will be removed or not approved if it is irrelevant or constitutes spam; contains false or misleading information; uses offensive language; mentions competitor brand names; or does not reflect our platform's values and standards.

We reserve the right to suspend a user's account or reviewing ability for policy violations.

20. Testimonials

Written testimonials submitted via our Website or contact channels may be used for marketing purposes at any time. Epitology Skin Technology may use a customer's first name and general skin concern when promoting products or services on our Website, email subscriber lists, and social media. We will never distribute photographic testimonials or disclose other personal information without prior written consent.
